Home Air & Space Museum (Dulles) Tour – Part 1

Air & Space Museum (Dulles) Tour – Part 1. Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport.

I recently made a return trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport while on yet another recent visit to Northern Virginia. I took a self-guided tour of the museum and filmed the tour. It was early on the day after a snowstorm,  which had shut down the museum for a day, so the museum was relatively empty which made it very easy to film the planes. Also, the day was filled with brilliant sunshine which made for great lighting throughout the museum.

My two-and-a-half tour resulted in hundreds of photos and dozens of short videos so I will be breaking my tour video up into several parts. This is Part 1 of the tour which consists of an introduction to the museum and a view of a couple sections of it. The remaining parts of the tour will be posted soon!

Even with all the photos that I took, there was no way I could film each and every display throughout the museum. What I hope to present here is the essence of the entire museum. If you ever get a chance to visit the museum, be prepared to spend hours seeing all that it has to offer. You won’t be disappointed!

The following video is Part 1 of my museum tour…enjoy!!:

Part 2 of the tour will follow soon so keep an eye out for it here on FlyBoyz!
